Machine learning is emerging. Late January 2026 finished loud with Clawdbot, that immediately got renamed to Moltbot to become OpenClaw in a few days. Is that the return to a state of the world, where name and reputation matters? Hopefully yes. The question is - will it matter again?
After over a decade in software development I like dreaming about one thing. How big potential I have. I can build entire world - with own mechanisms, rules, mechanics. And such worlds already exist. We call these games. Nothing that happens there is real, until people arrive. Then it becomes real, because with real emotions comes energy. Both make it real.
And now we’re stepping into an era, where building software becomes easier and faster. Where engineering is not required. Anyone can build own world. And actually it isn’t new. Most of the people live their lives in the projections. Projections of the landscape, of other people and themselves. And that’s how we can be neighbors, friends, spouse and still live individual, completely different lives.
AI opens up a potential, to share our personal world with others. What are we sharing? Love or hate, greed or generosity, adding or substracting? I bet this is what is going to change the shape of the world, at least the landscape of the e-world we know. And we see the changes.
People are begging for new products. That solves problems, that doesn’t demand months of learning and companies behind these products are not sending big invoices. For someone, who edit family photos once a month. For someone, who’s creating funny T-shirt for their family members birthday. They deserve high quality products for a reasonable price, not always “good for all professionals” harvester.
I see this is the reason for market moves. I see this is the reason for indie developers to grow in size. I want to believe that’s the step outside e-feudalism. But for now these are the dreams. High quality software can’t be build in a week. It can’t be adopted and scaled in a few days. There must be real people with the knowledge, skills and capacity to execute behind it. Otherwise it fails.
It’s 2026 and we rely on people to transport us, despite the promises, dreams and technological advantage of 20th century. There are limited amount of robots in the fully controllable facilities - factories. That’s the peak of „automation replacing people”. Get outside the building, and you will face endless amount of unexpected scenarios. We know we can deal with these, like our ancestors did. Nobody knows when machines will get close to this level of „intelligence”.
And one more thing. GPTs are about similarities. It can combine million possibilities into unusual combination. It can’t create a absolutely new million and first unique combination.
Let’s keep dreaming, it’s powerful way to shape the real world. Please also remember that’s a responsibility. Be responsible. AI boosts the potential, but I beg you - don’t let it to decide!
